Brief:

Technicolour Rumble is a stage performance by Real and Diverse Theatre. I was tasked with creating the title and poster designs for their show at QPAC. This included custom illustrations of Brisbane landmarks which were displayed on-stage. I was also responsible for the rollout of digital marketing assets for this project.

Solution:

Seven illustrations of iconic Brisbane landmarks were created in a simple vector style which would allow them to work well at small scale on marketing collateral and also at large scale, such as the stage screen. The bright colours are important to the plot, marking moments where joy and life is returned to the city by the heroes. This is reflected in the performance, as the illustrations transition from greyscale to full colour in time with the story.
